Whether you're migrating from another system or adding high volumes of income transactions, Adam, your AI accountant, makes bulk uploads easy. You can upload files in image, PDF, Excel, or CSV formats. Adam will read the data and automatically populate your Income Table.
Step-by-Step Guide
Prepare your File
Before uploading, make sure your file includes key income details such as the date received, income description, amount, customer, taxes, discounts, and account used.
Your file can be in image (jpeg/png), PDF, Excel (.xlsx/.xls), or CSV format. Ensure the content is well organized in tables or structured lists for better interpretation.
Open the Prompt Area
Navigate to the Income Table.
Click the “Add Data” button at the top right to open the prompt input modal.
Attach your File
In the prompt modal, click the attach icon beside the message box.
Select the file from your device that contains the income records.
Write a Short Instruction
In the prompt box, type a brief message to help Adam process your upload.
Example:
"Upload these income records."
This instruction tells Adam how to handle the file contents.
Observe Upload Limits
To ensure optimal performance:Each file should contain no more than 20,000 characters (roughly 150 entries).
For PDFs, limit to 10 pages per upload.
If your data exceeds these limits, split your file into smaller sections and upload them one by one.
Let Adam Process the Upload
Click Send to begin the upload.
Important: Avoid refreshing or closing the page during processing. It might take a few minutes based on file size.
Review the Results
Once the upload is complete, your income entries will appear in the Income Table.
Review the entries to ensure accuracy.
You can manually edit or delete any entry as needed.
Prepayment Status
The Prepaid field will automatically display Yes or No, depending on whether the income is prepaid. Adam determines this based on the uploaded data during processing.
