If you're switching from another system or need to log invoices in bulk, Adam, your AI accountant, can help you upload multiple invoice records quickly. Whether your data is in an image, PDF, Excel, or CSV format, Adam will interpret the content and automatically populate your Invoice Table.
Step-by-Step Guide
Prepare Your File
Before uploading, make sure your file includes key invoice details such as: invoice date, customer name, invoice items, taxes or discounts (if applicable), etc, and other relevant details
Your file can be in any of the following formats:
Image (JPG, PNG)
PDF
Excel (.xlsx/.xls)
CSV
Ensure the content is well-organized using tables or listed bullet points.
Open the Prompt Area
Navigate to your Invoice Table.
Click the Add Data button at the top right of the screen to open the prompt modal.
Attach Your File
In the prompt modal, click the Attach icon next to the message box.
Select and upload the file from your device that contains your invoice records.
Write a Short Instruction
In the prompt box, type a brief message so Adam understands what to do.
Example: “Upload these invoice records.”
Observe Upload Limits
To ensure smooth processing:
Limit each file to 20,000 characters (around 150 invoice records).
For PDF files, keep them under 10 pages.
If your file is larger, split and upload it in smaller chunks.
Let Adam Process the Upload
Click Send to begin.
Important: Do not close or refresh the page while Adam processes your file. This may take a few minutes based on file size.
Review the Results
Once the upload is complete, your invoice records will appear in the Invoice Table.
Review the imported data for accuracy.
You can edit or delete any line manually if needed.
