Adam, your AI accountant, makes recording income just as effortless as explaining it. Instead of manually entering each detail, you can describe the income in plain language, and Adam will handle the rest.

Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to add income using prompts:

  1. Click the Add Data Button
    In your Income Table, locate and click the Add Data button at the top right of the screen.

  2. Enter Your Income Description
    A modal will appear, prompting you to describe the income. Type your information naturally, as though you’re speaking to a person.

    • Example Prompt: "Record an income of ₦120,000 received from ABC Ltd for web development services."

  3. Send the Prompt
    After entering your description, click Send.

  4. Adam Processes the Prompt
    Adam will analyze your input, extract the relevant data (such as amount, customer, date, and purpose), and automatically create the income record.

  5. Check your Income Table
    Once processed, your income will appear in the Income Table. Review the entry to make sure all the details are correct.

  6. Prepayment Status
    The Prepaid field will display Yes or No, depending on whether the income is marked as prepaid. This status is automatically determined based on the information you provide in your prompt.
