Cash-based sales are sales where payment is received immediately at the point of transaction. These include walk-in sales, over-the-counter purchases, or instant cash payments from customers. Unlike invoices, cash-based sales do not involve receivables, due dates, or outstanding balances.
In Adam, cash-based sales are managed through the Income table.

Accessing the Income Table
Once you log in to Adam:

Adding Cash-Based Sales
To add a new cash-based sale:
Click the Add Income button
Choose one of the following options:

Upload a document or spreadsheet containing your sales records
When uploading documents, ensure:
The text does not exceed 15,000 characters
The file contains no more than 100 entries
The document is no longer than 10 pages
This helps Adam process your uploads efficiently.
Important Note on Cash-Based Sales
It is recommended that only cash-based transactions are uploaded here. These are payments received immediately using physical cash, with no outstanding balance.
If a payment was received via bank transfer, it should be recorded through the Bank Transactions table for easier reconciliation and accuracy.
Once your file is attached, click Submit. Adam will process the data and automatically populate the Income table.
Viewing and Managing Sales
After uploading, your sales appear in the Income table where you can:
View transaction details such as date, title, and amount
Filter sales by date using the calendar filter
Filter by income category based on your chart of accounts
Edit or rearrange table columns to customize how your data is displayed
