How to Send a Receipt to Customers

After recording your income in Adam, a professional receipt is automatically generated. You can easily access this receipt to send to your customer as proof of payment. Each receipt is downloadable and can be sent by email, printed, or shared through other communication platforms.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to the Income Table
    Start by navigating to your Income Table from the sidebar.

  2. Locate the Income Record
    Find the income record you want to send a receipt for. You can use filters or the search bar to find it quickly.

  3. Preview the Receipt Document

    • Go to the Document File column in the Income Table.

    • Click the file icon beside the relevant income record.

    • The receipt document will open in a new browser tab for preview.

  4. Download the Receipt
    Once the receipt opens in a new tab:

    • Click the Download button (usually found at the top-right corner of the document viewer).

    • Save the receipt to your device.

  5. Share the Receipt with Your Customer
    With the receipt file downloaded, you can now share it using your preferred method:

    • Email: Attach the receipt to an email and send it to your customer.

    • Print & Deliver: Print a copy and deliver it physically.

    • Messaging Platforms: Send via WhatsApp, Slack, or any other agreed-upon platform.
