How to Edit and Record Invoice Items

Invoices often include multiple line items like products or services. Whether you're editing an existing invoice or adding new items for the first time, Adam makes it easy to record and manage all the necessary details under each invoice.

Steps to Edit Invoice Records:

  1. From the Data Table section in the sidebar, select Invoice Table to view all your recorded invoices.

  2. Use the Search Bar or scroll through the list to locate the specific invoice you want to update.

  3. All the fields on the table are editable. Click on any field (e.g., Title, Customer, Due Date) to make changes to the record.

Steps to Record Invoice Items:

To view or manage items listed under an invoice:

  1. Click on the Total Amount of the invoice you want to edit.

  2. A modal window will open, displaying the line items recorded under that invoice.

  3. Inside the modal, you can:

    • Edit line items by clicking on any field (e.g., Item Name, Quantity, Account, Amount, Tax, Discount)

    • Add a new line item by clicking the βž• icon in the action column to insert a new row

    • Delete a line item by clicking the βž– icon in the action column to remove a row

  4. As you make changes, the Total Amount updates automatically in real-time.

  5. When you're finished, click β€œSave” at the bottom of the modal to apply your changes. The itemized details and total invoice amount will update immediately.
