Bills often include multiple line items like products, services, or charges. Whether you're editing an existing bill or adding new items for the first time, Adam makes it easy to record and manage all the necessary details under each bill.
Steps to Edit Bill Records:
From the Data Table section in the sidebar, select Bills to view all your recorded bills.
Use the Search Bar or scroll through the list to locate the specific bill you want to work on.
All the fields on the table are editable; click on any field (e.g., Title, Vendor, Due Date) to make changes to a record.
Steps to Record Bill Items:
To view the items under a bill:
Click on the Total Amount value of the bill.
A modal window will open showing the line items recorded under that bill.
Inside the modal, you can:
Edit line items by clicking on any field (e.g., Item Name, Quantity, Account, Amount, Tax, Discount) and updating the details.
Add a new line item by clicking the β icon in the action column to insert a new row.
Delete a line item by clicking the β icon in the action column to remove the row.
As you make changes, the Total Amount updates automatically in real-time.
When you're finished, click βSaveβ at the bottom of the modal to apply your changes. The itemized details and total bill amount will update immediately.
