How to Delete a Journal Entry

Remove one or multiple journal entries using the Row Action feature for cleaner records and accurate financial tracking

If you've made an incorrect journal entry or need to clean up outdated records, you can easily delete entries from your Journal Table. Use the Row Action menu to quickly delete single or multiple entries.

Delete a Single Journal Entry:

  1. Navigate to the Data Table section in the sidebar and open the Journal Table.

  2. Select the checkbox beside the journal entry you want to remove.

  3. Once the entry is selected, the Row Action menu becomes active.

  4. Choose “Delete” from the dropdown, the journal entry will be permanently removed from the table.

Bulk Delete Multiple Journal Entries:

  1. Select the checkboxes next to all the journal entries you want to delete.

  2. Click the Row Action button.

  3. Choose Delete from the dropdown menu.

  4. All selected entries will be deleted from your Journal Table.

Important Notes:
Deleted journal entries cannot be recovered. Always double-check that you're removing the correct records.
