How to Delete Chart of Accounts Records

Remove one or multiple Chart of Accounts records using the Row Action feature for cleaner data and better organization.

If you've created an account by mistake or need to clean up old records, you can easily delete single or multiple entries from your Chart of Accounts. Use the Row Action options to perform deletions quickly.

Delete a Single Account Record:

  1. Navigate to the Chart of Accounts Table.

  2. Select the checkbox beside the account you want to delete.

  3. Once selected, the Row Action button becomes active.

  4. Click Row Action, then choose Delete.

  5. The account will be permanently removed from the table.

Bulk Delete Multiple Accounts:

  1. Select the checkboxes next to all the accounts you want to delete.

  2. Click the Row Action button.

  3. Choose Delete from the dropdown.

  4. All selected accounts will be removed from your Chart of Accounts.

Important Notes:

  • Deleted records cannot be recovered, so ensure you’re removing the correct accounts.
