The Chart of Accounts (COA) Table is a foundational part of your accounting setup. It holds all the accounts you'll use to categorize your business transactions, including assets, liabilities, income, and expenses. Follow these steps to create your COA Table within the system:

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Navigate to the Data Table Section
In the sidebar, find and click on the Data Table section.

  2. Add a New Table
Once you're in the Data Table section, click the ➕ icon to add a new table.

  3. Select your Table Type
A modal will appear. Choose the Chart of Accounts Table from the dropdown menu as the type you want to create.

  4. Create the Table
After selecting the Chart of Accounts Table, click the Create Table button. The system automatically generates the table and adds it to your top navigation bar for quick access.

  5. If No Tables are available
If you have already created all the available tables, the dropdown will display the message "No available tables".

  6. Start using your COA Table
After creating the table, you can begin populating it with your account categories (e.g., Cash, Sales Revenue, Accounts Payable, etc.).
