Step-by-Step Guide
Follow these steps to create a new Bank Transactions Table in the system:
Navigate to the Data Table Section
In the sidebar, navigate to the Data Table section.Add a New Table
Click the โ icon to add a new table.Select your Table type
A modal will appear. From the dropdown menu, choose Bank Transactions Table as the table type.Create the Table
Click the Create Table button. Your new Bank Transactions Table will now appear in the navigation bar for quick access.If No Tables Are Available
If all available tables have already been created, the dropdown will display the message: โNo available tables.โ
Understanding the Columns in Your Bank Transactions Table
Each column in the Bank Transactions Table helps you better understand, sort, and analyze your financial transactions. Hereโs a breakdown of what each one means:
Column | What It Shows |
Date | The date the transaction occurred. |
Bank | The name of the connected or imported bank account. |
Status | Indicates if a transaction is categorized or uncategorized |
Narration | A brief description or narration of the bank transaction. |
Type | Shows whether the transaction is a Credit (inflow) or Debit (outflow). |
Amount | The value of the transaction. |
Balance | The running balance of your bank account after each transaction. |
Rate | The exchange rate used, if the transaction was in a foreign currency. |
Destination | Where the transaction is applied, Journal, Expense, Income, etc. |
Category | The Chart of Accounts category assigned to the transaction. |
๐ก Note: If a transaction uses foreign currency, the exchange rate displays the converted amount in brackets beside the original value.
Customize Table View
You can adjust how many transactions appear in your table:
Scroll to the bottom of the Bank Transactions Table.
Use the pagination control to choose how many rows to display per page (e.g., 10, 20, 30, etc.).
