As your list of journal entries grows, locating specific transactions can become challenging. Use the smart search and filter options in the Journal Table to quickly find entries, saving time and improving accuracy.

1. Using the Search Bar

At the top of your Journal Table, you'll find the Search Bar. This allows you to instantly search for journal entries using keywords, including:

  • Title (e.g., “Monthly Rent”)

  • Contact name (e.g., “John Enterprises”), etc.

Tip: The search is flexible and returns all matches in real time as you type.

2. Filtering by Date

Use the Date Filter to narrow down journal entries to a specific period. You can choose from preset options like:

  • Custom Range (manually pick start and end dates)

  • Today

  • This Week

  • This Month

  • This Year, etc.
