Adam gives you everything you need to generate, view, and analyze your core financial reports, all from one place. Whether it's the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow Statement, or Trial Balance, each report helps you understand a different part of your business's financial health.
Types of Reports You Can Generate
Balance Sheet: Shows what your business owns (assets), owes (liabilities), and what belongs to the owners (equity) at a specific point in time.
Profit & Loss (Income Statement): Tracks your income and expenses over time, showing whether you're making a profit or loss.
Cash Flow Statement: Highlights where your money is coming from and going, helping you manage liquidity and operating efficiency.
Trial Balance: Lists all your accounts and balances to ensure your books are mathematically accurate and ready for closing or audits.
Steps to Create a Financial Report
Follow these steps to generate any financial report for the first time:
Go to the Reports Section
From the sidebar, click on the Reports tab.Click the ➕ Icon to Add a Report
At the top-right of the Reports page, click the ➕ (plus) icon to add a new report.Choose the Report Type
A modal will appear. From the Report Type dropdown, select the report you want to generate (e.g., Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, etc.).Click “Create Report”
Once you've selected the report, click the Create Report button. Adam will instantly generate the report and display it.Access Your Report Anytime
Once created, the report will appear in your top navigation bar for quick access in the future.Note: If you’ve already created all available reports, the dropdown will show: “No available reports.”
